Twenty years of the MGF

First of all, apologies for the lack of Porsche content! Many years ago, I was editor of an MG magazine and have happy memories of driving these great British sports cars, both the classics and the modern ones. The MGF was a particular favourite – a mid-engined open-top roadster that was fun to drive.

It’s hard to believe, but this year marks the MGF’s 20th anniversary – where have the years gone? I was delighted to receive an invitation to attend the celebrations at, naturally, the Heritage Motor Centre. Sadly, though, I’m away on holiday that week so have to miss it.

If you’re around, do drop in. The event takes place on 1st and 2nd August and, on the second day, there’s a convey of cars driving to Longbridge where the MGF was built.
