Bruce Anderson

I was very sorry to hear of the death of Bruce Anderson after a long illness. Bruce was well-known in the USA and beyond for his Porsche writing and technical expertise and he was a regular contributor to the American Porsche magazine, Excellence. He also wrote a number of Porsche books, including the popular Porsche 911 Performance Handbook, and was technical advisor to Porsche Club North America.

Bruce’s strength as a writer was that he’d had hands-on experience with 911 engines, after running his own Porsche service business for many years. Sadly, I never met him but we communicated via email from time to time. In more recent times, Bruce’s wife Stephanie has bravely kept his friends and colleagues informed of his illness via his Facebook page.

My condolences to Bruce’s family and friends.

I read his books from an early age. A great author and an even greater loss to the Porsche community. My condolences to his family and friends.
