This 1991 Porsche 964 is a rare Carrera 2 Targa (most are Carrera 4s). It is finished in classic Guards Red with the original Design90 wheels, and benefits from an excellent service history which shows that it has been well maintained over the years.

The interior is finished in black leather with supportive Sports seats. The previous owner has added some tasteful modifications in the form of red seatbelts, red tachometer and red ignition switch surround, plus a modern Kinzle CR1225+ DAB head unit with Bluetooth phone connectivity.

The suspension has been upgraded with Bilstein B6 coilover dampers and H&S springs, set to RS geometry. This not only ensures optimal handling, but the lower ride height improves the look of the car.

A new clutch was installed in 2016 at 82,000 miles, and at the same time the engine ‘tinwear’ was removed and repainted, as was the engine fan, so the engine bay is very clean and smart. New rear lights and reflector were fitted, too.

The Targa roof has been fully refurbished so that it fits properly and looks good.

The Porsche has had just four owners from new; the last since 2014 and he cherished and improved the car during his ownership. The large history file has invoices dating back to 1998 and includes a Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche, a genuine 964 sales brochure plus some 964-related books. There are lots of invoices documenting work done to the car over the years, and it is clear that no expense has been spared in ensuring that the Porsche has been kept in tip-top condition.
