This 1986 Peugeot 205 GTI is a real timewarp car. With just 37,127 miles on the clock, it’s in near-new condition, inside and out.

Finished in Alpine White with the original pepper pot wheels (shod with Michelin tyres) and a sliding glass sunroof, it’s the epitome of eighties hot hatch cool.

The interior boasts black and red Biarritz seats, and striking red carpets, plus a period Pioneer radio-cassette player.

The car’s history is documented right back to 1986. The last two services were by main Peugeot dealers in 2021 and 2022, at 37,092 and 37,111 miles respectively!

The 205 GTI is one of the greatest hot hatches of the eighties, and the original 1.6-litre variant, with its revvy engine, is the purist’s choice, as it’s such a fun and light little car, and huge fun to drive. It’s rare to find one with such low mileage and in such good, original condition.

The Peugeot comes with its original driver’s manual, service book, a Haynes manual, and the ideal numberplate ‘C16 PEU’.
