Here’s a rare car. It’s a 2010 Aston Martin V12 Vantage Carbon Black. Any V12 Vantage is special but is particularly so as very few Carbon Black versions were made. Finished in Carbon Black Metallic, the Carbon Black features carbonfibre side strakes, gloss-black, 10-spoke diamond-cut alloy wheels. A polished grille and front parking sensors complete the exterior look.

The interior features lightweight carbonfibre and Kevlar sports seats finished in Obsidian Black leather and Alcantara, with contrasting silver stitching to the leatherwork. Piano black dashboard and centre console trim, anodised black sill plates continue the carbon theme.

Standard V12 fare includes carbonfibre bonnet vents, front and rear splitters and side skirts to distinguish it from the V8. And, of course, there’s that gorgeous 6.0-litre V12 engine that produces 510bhp and sounds wonderful as it propels the car from 0-60mph in just four seconds before hitting a top speed of 190mph. The power goes through a six-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential, and reined in with massive carbon-ceramic brakes.

The V12 Vantage is an enviable blend of performance and luxury. Features include an Alcantara multifunction steering wheel, fully electric seats with driver’s memory, automatic climate control, cruise control, satnav, Bluetooth phone connectivity, front and rear parking sensors, and an automatically dipping rear-view mirror.

A total of 1199 V12 Vantages built in total and just 380 came to the UK. Out of those, only 230 Carbon Black cars were sold worldwide and it is believed that around 40 were UK-bound, so it really is a very rare and desirable Aston Martin. With 17,500 miles, this Aston is in lovely condition, inside and out. It has a well documented service history and will be serviced again before sale, ready for the new owner.
