This 1986 Porsche 924S is a car we have sold twice before and we are delighted to have it in stock again, as it has an astonishing history. The Porsche has been in the same ownership for the majority of its life. It was originally a gentleman’s company car and he liked it so much, he bought it and cherished it.  This fastidious owner kept every document relating to the car’s servicing; each time it went into the workshop, he wrote a polite letter, outlining the work required, and copies of these have been kept. There’s even a record of a parking ticket!

Three years ago, the Porsche was recommissioned, with a major service including new cam belts and tensioners, water pump, spark plugs and more. Then, two years ago, we changed the power-steering pipes and reservoir and fitted four brand-new Toyo Proxes tyres. It has since had a new clutch, water pump, fuel lines and pump, complete new Porsche exhaust. oil seals and the injectors have been ultrasonically cleaned. It really is an astonishingly well sorted 924S.

The 924’s Guards Red paintwork is in excellent condition and the car has the correct ‘telephone dial’ wheels. The interior is finished in black ‘Porsche logo’ fabric and is also in very good condition, apart from the inevitable small cracks to the dashboard top.
