This 2000 Porsche 996 Carrera is a very well-sorted example with a few subtle updates to make it perfect for fast-road or track use.

It is finished in timeless Arctic Silver Metallic with 18-inch Turbo-look wheels shod with Michelin PilotSport tyres. The interior is full black leather.

The car has a huge list of factory options, including fully electric seats with driver’s memory and adjustable lumber support (a rare option), CDR32 radio/CD (cleverly updated to allow Bluetooth music and phone connectivity), sunroof, aluminium dial faces, aluminium inlay gearlever and handbrake lever, stainless steel door sill covers, Alcantara roof lining, rear wiper.

The car has had a rebuilt gearbox, new clutch, new IMS bearing and rear main seal. The suspension has been updated with KW1 dampers and springs, and has been set up by geometry experts Center Gravity. A Top Gear sports exhaust gives a fruity burble without being overly noisy, plus there’s a short-shift gear change. The centre console has been deleted to give a clean interior reminiscent of a GT3.

In addition, the car has been treated to a full Top Gear exhaust system, rebuilt gearbox, new clutch, new IMS bearing and rear main seal, Center Gravity suspension set up and two new keys.

The car comes with a huge folder detailing work done on it throughout its life. There’s also a fully stamped service book.

The result is an incredibly well-sorted Porsche 996, that is lovely to drive. It feels incredibly well sorted with sharp handling and steering.
