Many features on modern Porsches tend to be known by sometimes confusing acronyms. Here’s a list of Porsche acronyms to help you distinguish your PASM from your PSM and PCM. Please get in touch if we’ve missed any.

IMS Intermediate seal
KESSY Keyless entry, start and exit system
LSA Lightweight, stable, agile (sub-frame-mounted rear suspension)
LSD Limited-slip differential
MAF Mass air-flow (sensor)
MSR Engine drag-force control (seems interchangeable with EDC)
OBC On-board computer
