THIS CAR IS NOW SOLD. SIMILAR STOCK REQUIRED
Here’s a very rare and collectable 911. Porsche only made the 911 Turbo in Targa form in 1988 and 1989, and just 297 were sold worldwide; a fraction of the number of coupes and Cabriolets. This is one of just 28 right-hand drive examples made in 1988! Porsche never made a Turbo Targa again after this model.
This example has covered just 42,500 miles (verified by all previous MoT certificates and service book) and is in remarkably original condition.
The Porsche is finished in Metallic Silver (a purer colour than the more common Arctic and Polar) and much of the paint appears original; what has been repainted has been done so to a very high standard. There is no evidence of corrosion. The Targa roof is in a good condition and is a snug fit.
Inside, the full dark blue leather is also in good original condition, and benefits from heated Sports seats and even the original Blaupunkt Toronto radio. All the handbooks are intact, as is the original leather pouch for the keys, and the toolkit and compressor are also present and correct. It even has the original Roger Clark Cars sales sticker and tax disc holder.
When the current owner bought the car in 2008, he had it inspected by Peter Morgan Consulting, and the report is good (copy available on request).
The Porsche has just been serviced and is priced at £27,995. Please get in touch for more information or to make an appointment to view this rare 911.
