Here’s a very rare Porsche 911. The 964 Anniversary was sold in 1993 to celebrate 30 years of the Porsche 911. Just 911 were built and, of those, 42 right-hand drive examples came to the UK.
Like most Anniversaries, this Turbo-bodied car is finished in stunning Viola Metallic with a full Rubicon Grey leather interior, plus air-conditioning.
All Anniversaries carry a unique serial number and this one is number 480.
It has covered around 30,000 miles from new (see below) and has been very well maintained by its current owner. In January 2010, it was serviced and has just been treated to a new set of Michelin Pilot Sport tyres. In May 2009, the suspension was upgraded with KW V3 coilovers, Powerflex front bushes, front and rear ARB bushes and a full geometry set-up. This gives a sporty but very compliant ride and endows the car with a lower, sportier stance. The original springs and dampers are available if required.
The car was originally registered in Hong Kong but has been in the UK since 2002. The previous owner had to fit a new speedometer after 23,000 miles and the current one is reading 7200. The owner can supply details of the previous owner, who is able to verify the mileage.
