This fully restored Volkswagen Type 2 Bay Window Microbus really is a thing of beauty and perfect for summer cruises. It is finished in flawless cream paintwork with a contrasting white roof. The interior has been beautifully trimmed in cream and burgundy with a rock-and-roll double bed.

Originally from the USA, the Volkswagen came to the UK in 2017. It has been extensively restored and updated to make it usable on today’s roads.

At the heart of the upgrades is a fully rebuilt 1776cc engine with forged crank, lightened flywheel, big valve heads, Eagle 100 camshafts and twin Weber carburettors. The four-speed gearbox has also been rebuilt and uprated, and gives super-slick changes.

The bodywork has been fully stripped, restored and repainted to a super-high standard throughout.

The brakes have been upgraded, with modern front discs and everything else renewed. The suspension is all refurbished, too. The electrical system has been upgraded with new front and rear lights, plus numerous other parts have been renewed and there’s a large file of receipts documenting it all.

The Volkswagen shall be serviced before sale, so it will be all ready for the new owner to enjoy. We don’t think left-hand drive is a problem but, if you wish, we can convert it to right-hand drive for you. We can even convert it to electric power.
