This 2007 Renault Megane is a rare 230 F1 Team R26,, built to celebrate the company’s success in Formula One that year. Its 2.0-litre turbocharged engine is tuned to 230bhp and the power goes through a limited-slip differential. The suspension is tuned for action, with firm springs and dampers, and revised settings. Brembo brakes hide behind 18-inch alloy wheels, and there’s a six-speed gearbox.

The F1 stands out, with its black paintwork and distinctive graphics on the bumpers, doors and roof. Plus there are twin exhausts and the door mirrors are finished in anthracite grey to match the wheels. It’s a great looking car!

The cockpit boats body-hugging Recaro seats finished in black leather with Alcantara centres, complemented by grey seatbelts. There’s climate control, cruise control, plus electric windows and mirrors.

The car has covered 108,500 miles with a well documented history. We shall service the car and do the all-important cambelt change before sale. It’s in refreshingly original condition with no modifications and comes with the original handbooks and two key cards. This is surely a future classic.
