This 2001 Porsche 996 Carrera is finished in Meridian Silver Metallic, a rare shade that’s has a hint of titanium in it. It looks great, especially when paired with the later Turbo-style 18-inch alloy wheels.

The interior is full black leather, with eight-way fully electric seats with driver’s memory. Options include aluminium dials, Tiptronic lever and handbrake, sunroof, Alcantara headlining and trip computer. A modern Sony CarPlay unit gives sat-nav, Bluetooth and full phone connectivity. Other options of note are a rear wiper, Litronic headlamps and PSM.

The Porsche had an engine rebuild in 2020, which is fully documented. A major service and transmission service was undertaken in November 2021, and new Michelin PilotSport tyres fitted all round. The front brake discs and pads were also renewed last year. Essentially, everything that’s needed to be done, has been done.

This lovely 996 is in excellent condition, inside and out, and is a joy to drive.
