This 2002 Porsche 986 Boxster S is a car that we’ve known for a few years. It has been well maintained and treated to various work in recent years to ensure it’s in superb mechanical condition and great fun to drive.

The Porsche is finished in timeless Seal Grey Metallic with a new Metropole Blue hood and 18-inch Turbo-Look wheels. The interior is full Metropole Blue leather, including the rare option of leather dashboard and door panels, with contrasting white dials.

Options include automatic climate control, wind deflector, front and rear parking sensors, and a CDR22 radio head unit. Being a later 986 Boxster, it benefits from a glass rear window and electric luggage compartment releases.

The Boxster has a well-documented service history. Recent work of note includes a suspension refresh with HR Springs and Koni Special active dampers plus various new bushes, new clutch and uprated IMS bearing, new rear main seal,  new water pump, new suspension bushes, new air/oil separator, new roof, Michelin PilotSport tyres and much more. A DesignTek exhaust system sounds wonderful without being intrusive. We gave the Porsche a major service with spark plugs less than a year ago, and we shall do another service before sale, plus a new MoT.
