This 2016 Porsche 981 Cayman GTS is an exciting car. It’s one of the last of the six-cylinder 981s and is a rare manual-transmission example. It is finished in eye-catching Racing Yellow with satin black 20-inch Carrera S wheels.

The interior boasts black leather dash and door panels, plus black Alcantara seats, roof lining and steering wheel. The instruments are contrasting yellow.

The Porsche has a fantastic specification, including Sport Chrono Pack Plus which gives the analogue timer plus digital timing capabilities and, more importantly, Sport and Sport Plus buttons which give an enhanced driving experience. Sport Plus even blips the throttle on downshifts to rev match for you. There’s also a Sports exhaust which sounds wonderful. PASM gives the choice of two suspension settings.

Other options include front and rear Park Assist, Auto stop-start, hill assist, PCM sat-nav, Bluetooth connectivity for phone calls and music, auxiliary input, Bose Sound Package, automatic xenon headlamps, tyre pressure monitor and aluminium filler cap.

With a full 335bhp, the GTS has 15bhp more power than the standard Cayman, which equates to a 0-62mph time of just 4.9 seconds and a top speed of 177mph. The PASM suspension is fine-tuned to give superb handing, too. And the six-speed manual transmission is the icing on the cake.

The Porsche has covered only 20,000 miles, with a full service history. The last service was by Porsche Bournemouth in October 2021 at 18,304 miles, so it won’t need another until October 2023.
