This well-maintained Porsche 968 dates from 1994 and is finished in eye-catching Cobalt Blue Metallic with 16-inch Cup alloy wheels.

The interior features Blue Leather, with body-hugging Sports seats with electrical height adjustment. The car features a full-length sunroof which tips up at the touch of a button or can be removed for open-top motoring. The roof panel is stored in a leatherette bag in the boot. An attractive update is a Blaupunkt Frankfurt RCM 82 DAB which looks period but boasts up to date DAB radio, Bluetooth phone connectivity and a USB port.

The Porsche comes with a large history folder, which shows that a lot of money has been invested in it in recent years. At 141,000 miles in 2019, there’s a bill for over £2700, which includes the all-important belts and water pump change. In 2024, at 146,000 miles, the car was treated to a major service, with spark plugs, a brake fluid change, a coolant system overhaul and more, at a cost of over £2400. It’s not a concours car, but it is very presentable but has been properly maintained and drives beautifully.

The Porsche 968 was the final incarnation of Porsche’s transaxle series, which began with the 924, evolved into the 944 and, finally, the 968. The 968 looks so much more modern, with restyled front and rear ends, and cool pop-up headlamps. Mechanically, the 968 boasts a 3.0-litre four-cylinder engine with VarioCam technology. The engine develops 240bhp and 305Nm of torque, going through a six-speed rear-mounted gearbox. This equates to a sprightly 0-60mph time of 6.5 seconds and a top speed of 156mph.
