This 2005 Porsche 997 Carrera 4S Cabriolet is one of the nicest you’ll find. It’s in superb condition and benefits from a fabulous service history.

The manual-transmission Porsche is finished in gleaming Basalt Black Metallic with 19inch Sport Design alloy wheels with coloured Porsche crest centres. The car has been subtly updated with LED rear lights and front side lights (the originals are available) and looks wonderful.

The interior is all black leather with a high specification. The seats are hard-backed adaptive Sports items with fully electric operation and driver’s memory. The seats are heated and have the Porsche crest embossed in the headrests. Sport Chrono Pack Plus is a useful option that gives a chronometer atop the dash and a Sport button which, when pressed, gives a sharper throttle response. The PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) button firms up the handling, while a sports exhaust and factory short-shifter gearlever add further to the driving experience.

Other options include Bose sound pack, PCM (Porsche Communication Management) with sat-nav, multifunction steering wheel, rear Park Assist a self-dimming rearview mirror, and a folding wind deflector.

The 911 comes with a well-documented service history. The service book has been correctly stamped throughout the car’s life, mostly with Porsche Centres. The last service was by Porsche Centre Preston in August 2019 at 76845 miles. Six new coil packs were fitted last year when a borescope inspection was undertaken, and there is a large folder of invoices backing up the history.
