This 2005 Audi TT quattro Sport is a rare car. Just 800 were sold in the UK and, today, it’s unusual to find one in such original condition and with such a low mileage as this lovely example.

The Sport was developed by Audi’s own sports division, quattro GmbH, and has an upgraded version of the TT’s turbocharged engine, producing a very useful 240bhp. The car is 75kp lighter than normal, thanks to lightweight Recaro seats and no rear seats. This equates to a 0-60mph time of just 5.9 seconds.

This rare car can be distinguished by its unique Phantom Black roof over Avus Silver paintwork, unique 18-inch wheels, which are wider at the rear than the front, plus lowered suspension and a bodykit.

The interior features the aforementioned Recaro seats which are trimmed in Alcantara, which also adorns the steering wheel, handbrake and gearlever. There’s also the original Bose sound system, which is neatly hidden by a folding alloy cover.

With lowered and firmed-up suspension, the Sport is a sharp-handling car and a lot of fun to drive. The original TT is a true modern classic, and the rare Sport even more so. The only non-standard part of the car is an aftermarket sports exhaust, which sounds wonderful.

The Audi has covered just 74,500 miles from new and has a very well documented service history, with the last service at 73,593 miles in March 2019, when the all-important cambelt and water pump were replaced.. It has had four owners and comes complete with all the original booklets and documentation.
