This gorgeous 1985 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 has just had a full engine and gearbox rebuild done by well-known Porsche technicians, RSR Engineering, at cost of over £14,500. The engine and gearbox come with a two-year warranty from RSR.

The car is finished in Guards Red with the correct Fuchs wheels and really does look superb, with no signs of corrosion or bubbling.

The interior boasts the original black pinstripe seats and is very tidy and well presented.

The engine and gearbox rebuilds are fully documented with photos. The engine has been fitted with 964 camshafts which give a little more power at higher revs. In addition, new heat exchangers have been fitted together with a new rear fan and the entire heating system has been overhauled to ensure it works properly (so often the heating doesn’t operate correctly on air-cooled 911s). The 915 gearbox has been treated to all new synchromeshes, differential bearing and shifter bushes. A new clutch, alternator, battery and a set of fresh tyres complete the transformation, so this Porsche really does want for nothing.

The 911 comes with its original service book and driver’s manual. It will be sold with 12 months’ MoT plus the aforementioned two-year warranty on the engine and gearbox, underwritten by RSR Engineering. We will put our six-month warranty on other mechanical parts.
