1969 Porsche 911T
This beautiful left-hand drive 1969 Porsche 911T has been the subject of a year-long restoration, and is in superb condition and looks as it would have done when it left the Porsche factory some 50 years ago.
The work was carried out by leading Porsche restoration specialist Theon Design, It included a complete strip down, full rebuild of the 2.0-litre engine with overhauled Weber carburettors, reconditioned gearbox, a bare metal respray (with e-coat protection) in the original Ossis Blue, plus all new or restored suspension and brakes.
The interior boasts renovated and retrimmed comfort seats, and basketweave door cards, plus a Blaupunkt Frankfurt radio. The carpets and headlining are also new, while the instruments have been refurbished.
The 911T is a very special part of Porsche history. It was the first long wheelbase 911 and, as such, has many parts from from the earlier short-wheelbase cars, alongside one-year-only components. This example was originally registered on 6th December 1968 in the USA. It was later exported to Holland before coming to the UK in 2017. It has a Porsche Certificate of Authentication which shows that the car retains its original engine and gearbox, and its original specification. The restoration has been fully documented.
