Here’s an interesting photo I found in my archives. It’s a press shot of a Porsche 911SC and 911 Turbo from 1976, showing each car with its respective engine. The turbocharger is clearly visible on the lower left side of the Turbo engine and, even back then, the engine was tightly packaged.
Note that that Turbo is badged ‘Turbo Carrera’ which is how the car was marketed in the USA for a short period.
