Magnus Walker is very much flavour of the month in the Porsche world. An Englishman living in LA, he has an enviable lifestyle and an even more enviable collection of vintage Porsche 911s, from 1964 to 1972. Magnus has developed a reputation for building tastefully modified 911 hotrods which look wonderful and have some neat touches to them.
A short film has been made about Magnus and his Porsches. I wasn’t able to make it to the premier in London last week but I have been able to watch the film, and it’s wonderful. Beautifully filmed, it captures the man’s passion for Porsches and offers an insight into his business life, too. It’s inspired, although a little worrying to hear an English guy talking about “leather pants”. It took me a moment to realise he was referring to trousers! 🙂
The great news is that Magnus and the film company, Supplemental, have opted to bypass the traditional cinema/DVD route and are making the movie free for anyone to watch via the internet. It’ll be on general release from 15th October at this link, where you can currently watch a taster. Highly recommended! 🙂
