Ex-Porsche GB boss Kevin Gaskell

It was LinkedIn that suggested I knew Kevin Gaskell and, as is inevitable when browsing the internet, I clicked the link to his personal website. To quote The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, “What a guy!”

Kevin Gaskell joined Porsche Cars Great Britain in 1987 and four years later, at the age of just 32, was Managing Director and, during his time in charge, Porsche became one of the UK’s most profitable car companies. He then went on to run BMW GB and, again, did astonishing work. He’s gone on to be run various other high-profile companies and today is also a public speaker.

And if all that’s not enough, in his spare time Kevin has walked to both Poles, climbed Mount Everest, played international cricket, and is a guitarist in a rock band.

Yep, what a guy!
