A Porsche 911 Carrera 4 is a great car in the snow

I’ve heard that prices of used 4x4s are on the up in the UK as people clamour to get a car that they hope will enable them to conquer the snow.
However, with a bit of lateral thinking, you can have a great sports car that will also perform in the snow. Let’s face it, conventional 4x4s are designed for off-roading and, as such, have massive ground clearance which is of little help if you’re just trying to negotiate your local backroads.
