Porsche does some confusing things sometimes. Once upon a time, if you choose a white Porsche the colour (yes, I know white isn’t strictly a colour) would be called Glacier White, which is easy to understand. Now, though, the white paint is called Carrara White, which looks like a misspelling of that famous Porsche badge Carrera. However, it’s actually named after a type of white Italian marble which comes from the town of Carrara.
