Porsche Cayman S Vs Porsche 924 Turbo Photoshoot

Porsche Cayman S Vs Porsche 924 Turbo Photoshoot

This week, we have had Ryan Thorn, a 14 year-old work experience student from the local Bishop Luffa School with us (that’s him trying out a Cayman for size in the photo below). Ryan has been enthusiastically involved in all aspects of the business, including coming out on a magazine photoshoot which he reports on below. The words and photos are all courtesy of Ryan.

Today, four of us travelled out to the South Downs near Goodwood to do a photoshoot with the Porsche Cayman S and the Porsche 924 Turbo, a real blend of modern and classic styles of car. The photoshoot was for GT Porsche magazine, which Phil writes for.

Firstly, the photographer, Antony Fraser, took some basic shots of the two cars individually and as a pair, before starting to get increasingly technical by using more advanced technology to get amazing shots of the tyres, the badges, the body of the cars, the engines and the interior of the two cars.

After that he strapped his camera and the rest of his equipment, first to the back of his car to get a moving shot of the cars, and then to the front of his car to get actions shots from the rear of the two beautiful cars.

Finally, he added more tech to the end of his camera and he had the cars driving around a corner on the Trundle hill to get action shots of the two Porsches. It was interesting to see how he could get a mix of sharpness and blurriness on the cars to create a feeling of high speed and precision, and mainly how he takes these amazing shots.

Overall, it was a very cold but very enjoyable day. It was interesting to see how it all worked, how he got the perfect shots, how much he managed to incorporate technology into the shoot to get the images to their absolute best and ultimately how it all came together in the end.

Both the cars featured are for sale. Please click here to see all our current stock.
